Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer best known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Following that, she performed on Broadway for a number of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it large in the National Theatre. That same year, she launched her first album, It's the time for Tina. Louise began her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was a huge hit and Louise was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the course of this film, she was began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship to Lee Strasberg as his student. Her next memorable role came by way of 1964 when she signed with CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise did not stop juggling her acting career in between Broadway television and Hollywood playing more serious roles, as opposed to her perception of being an glamor girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Since her debut, she's established herself as a well-known and respected director of popular television shows such as Supernatural and The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family emigrated to Toronto when she was just three which is where she spent the rest of her childhood and adolescence. She settled in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
