Cheryl Hines
Cheryl Ruth Hines was born on September 21 on the 21st of September, 1965, in Miami Beach, Florida, to Rosemary (Graham) and James Hines who she grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. She went to West Virginia University, Florida State University and then graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida. It wasn't until she moved away from Los Angeles to the Groundlings Theater and studied comedy there where she really felt that she learned about humor. Lisa Kudrow was her first tutor. She learned to improvise and write comedy sketches. It was a great way to prepare her for the character of Larry David's spouse in the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). Since dialogue is usually improvised for situation comedy and she's home. Still, she performs at the Groundlings Theater when she has the chance.
